B.S. Health & Human Physiology
Ever since my freshman year of college, I knew that I wanted to have a career in the natural medicine field. I recently graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Human Physiology. Although I am unsure exactly what I want to be “when I grow up,” I believe the combination of my experience, education, and empathy will help me to be successful in whichever field I decide to pursue.
My mother really sparked my interest in food as medicine and natural healing. She was the first person to teach me the importance of eating the right foods in order to nourish your mind and body. I joined the EPIC team in hopes of learning as much as I could about the field of Functional Medicine, as well as to improve my own healthy habits. I had known about EPIC and the amazing work that they do every day, and I am so thankful that I was given this opportunity to work with such extraordinary, gracious people. I cannot wait to continue to learn more from the amazing team I get the privilege of working with every day. In the future, I look forward to making a meaningful difference in the healthcare field and in as many people’s lives as I possibly can!
I am currently learning (slowly but surely) how to play the ukulele and guitar. I also would really love to learn how to play the piano someday. I also have a twin brother, that’s pretty fun.
